3 Days Murchison falls park  tour

This 3 Days Murchison falls park tour  will take you to one of Uganda’s largest parks, Murchison Falls National Park, which is located in Northwestern Uganda and covers an area of 3,840 square kilometers. It was gazetted as a game reserve in 1926 and is classified as Savannah grasslands with the Victoria Nile flowing through it, dividing it into two (the northern and southern bank). Over 451 bird species, including the Great Blue Turaco, Goliath heron, Shoebill, and dwarf kingfisher, as well as 76 mammal species, a large number of Nile crocodiles, and—above all—the breathtaking and thunderous Murchison Falls squeezed through an 8-meter-wide gorge. All in all, you will have the chance to enjoy both of our Uganda safari game drives during your trip.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park, stop at ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking.

Following a leisurely breakfast, our driving guide will come to your accommodation at 7:00 am to take you to the Murchison Falls National Park. He will also give you an overview of your three-day safari itinerary. After passing through Luwero, you will make a halt at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinoceros, where you can see both black and white rhinos.

Have lunch at a different location in Masindi after tracking, and then continue to the park. After paying for park access, drive to the top of the falls, where you may witness a variety of species, including baboons and warthogs.

Witnessing the mighty falls squeak through the rocks in an 8-meter cleft from the top of the falls is an incredible experience. Grab all the pictures you can. Drive to the lodge later, unwind all evening, have dinner, and spend the night there.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise on the nile.

This day, get up early, eat breakfast at 6:30 am, and then get picked up from the resort by your driver and ranger guide at 7:00 am for your game drive. You will have the opportunity to view a wide variety of wildlife during the drive, including birds, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and water bucks.

Drive back to the lodge at 11:40 a.m. after the game drive, unwind, freshen up, and have lunch in order to get ready for the afternoon boat cruise. Along the banks of the Nile, you may spot a variety of Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants from the boat. You can also spot some gorgeous birds singing in the trees, like the bee eaters and the rainbow.

You can clearly see the powerful waterfalls at the base of the Murchison Falls when you arrive, which is where the boat ride will take you.

Alternatively, you can hike to the summit, where you’ll meet your driver guide and be driven back to the lodge. Enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Return to Kampala.

After eating a satisfying breakfast, head out for a morning game drive on your way back to Kampala. Enjoy an exciting experience as you search for a variety of animal species, many of which may be seen feeding in the grasslands. These include buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, and several bird species.
